Los Angeles Times article "Why Clinton can count on Latinos" points out Hillary's advantage over Obama in regards to Latino support.
From the beginning Hillary made significant efforts to gain early endorsements from Latino leaders. Five of the seven Latino congressional representatives in California support her campaign. Former San Antonio mayor and U.S. housing secretary, are also on her side. Leaders such as California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nuñez and Raul Yzaguirre, former head of the National Council of La Raza, are national co-chairmen of her campaign. The prominent Latino leaders who have demonstrated influence among our community.
