Latino to Latino Phone Bank in MD/VA/DC
Here's our chance to motivate Latino Voters across the Nation to Vote for Hillary in the primary election!
This Sunday, January 27 at 5:00 pm, Hillary is asking all Latino supporters from Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland to come together at an important phone bank in the Arlington, Virginia headquarters (4420 North Fairfax Drive). The goal is to contact as many undecided Hispanic voters in the early states (New Mexico, Arizona, California, New Jersey, and Connecticut) as we can!
By speaking to undecided voters about why we support Hillary, we can potentially make a difference in who they decide to vote for. The voters we contact can help Hillary win important states on what Senator Menendez calls “Latino Tuesday”!
Please e-mail me at Monica.Cevallos@latinosforclinton.com if you are interested! I will be coordinating carpools and rides if necessary. You can also email Alex Sanchez at asanchez@hillaryclinton.com to confirm your participation,
*It is encouraged that we bring your charged cell phone.
Hope to see you there!

The Hispanic Vote Critical in This Election and for Decades to Come
According to Adam Nagourney and Jennifer Steinhauer's article in today's Politics section on the New York Times, "In Obama’s Pursuit of Latinos, Race Plays Role", in 2004 Hispanics accounted for 16 percent of the vote in the California primary; 11 percent in New York, 17 percent in Arizona and 9 percent in Florida. As such, it is clear that the Hispanic vote will be critical to any Democrat seeking to be elected in this election and for decades to come. Senator Clinton is looking for volunteers to participate in letter writing campaigns or phone banking events. Sign up today and help change the face of American politics.

Clinton Victorious in New Hampshire
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton surprised the pundits and pollsters last night and won the New Hampshire Primary with 39% of the vote to Senator Barack Obama's 36%. In the morning talk shows, Senator Clinton attributed her win in part to her success late in the race in telling voters why she's in public life. It is now time to focus on Michigan (Jan. 15), Nevada (Jan. 19), South Carolina (Jan. 26) and Florida (Jan. 29). Volunteers interested in participating in letter writing campaigns or phone banking events please sign up immediately.
